The 100 percent cotton shirts are made by Bella Canvas, an eco- and worker-friendly company based in California. Our shirts were originally sewn by workers in factories in Nicaragua, where the company adheres to WRAP principles of humane, fair and environmentally safe working conditions. The dying of the shirts happens in CA, where the process uses 7 times less water than typical methods, saving 24 million gallons of water weekly. Any waste water is recycled in-house rather than expelled into nearby lakes or streams. Excess fabric is recycled into other products. They've also built a 450,000 square foot solar array to power this operation. The actual printing of our shirts was done by Amalgamated Culture Works of Burlington, VT, who were great to work with and gave us a nonprofit discount. Price includes shipping.
